Basketball-Bundesligist Syntainics Mitteldeutscher BC separates from Courtney Ramey. Club and player had agreed on a dissolution of the contract originally valid until the end of the season, announced the club from Weißenfels on the weekend. The combo guard was brought in as a replacement for his injured American compatriot Charles Callison. After his surprisingly fast recovery, there is no more room for Ramey as a supernumerary foreigner in the MBC squad. The 24-year-old Ramey had played only in the first round of the Cup in Frankfurt, but had remained without points there.
