An extended family from Chemnitz has a new member: little Carmen. Her birth was not only special for her parents.

The 500th baby has been born at Chemnitz-Rabenstein Hospital this year. Carmen is also the tenth child of her parents Raquel and Adrian, the hospital announced. The baby was born at 51 centimeters and 3,380 grams. Carmen has two brothers and seven sisters. Her parents are originally from Spain and had their first child together in 2014.
