States demand extension of the digital pact for schools

The heads of state governments are calling for the digital pact for schools to be extended. With the current agreement, considerable progress has been made in the digitalization of the educational landscape from 2019 to 2024. This positive development must be "pursued continuously and seamlessly", according to a resolution passed by the Conference of Minister Presidents. The federal government must provide at least 1.3 billion euros per year from 2025 to 2030 to continue the digital pact. The money must be distributed to the federal states in a "low-bureaucracy procedure".
