Nine companies and municipalities from Saxony will be presenting at the Smart City World Congress from November 4 to 6 in Barcelona. The meeting will focus on innovations to sustainably improve the quality of life in cities, said Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Panter (SPD). "Our stand gives players from Saxony even greater visibility, serves to cultivate and attract customers and also to approach investors."
The cities of Dresden and Leipzig, the All Electric Alliance from Zwickau and companies such as Nextbike, Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe and Ziegler Metallbearbeitung from Nebelschütz are among those represented from Saxony. According to the information provided, more than 1,100 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors are expected in Barcelona.
