The Saxon Ministry of Justice is launching a series of video messages from lawyers on the Basic Law.

The Saxon Ministry of Justice wants to shed light on the Basic Law with video messages from lawyers on social media. The series will begin with congratulations from Justice Minister Katja Meier (Greens) on the 75th anniversary of the Basic Law, the ministry announced on Thursday. This will be followed in the coming days by video messages from the heads of the Saxon judiciary, the legal profession and notaries.

According to the announcement, the lawyers will pay tribute to those articles of the Basic Law that are particularly close to their hearts. The contributions will be shown on the Ministry of Justice's social media channels. The presidents of Saxony's higher courts and the Attorney General of the Free State are taking part. The President of the Saxony Bar Association and the President of the Saxony Chamber of Notaries will also be taking part.

Saxony's higher courts include the Dresden Higher Regional Court, the Higher Administrative Court, the State Labor Court, the State Social Court and the Tax Court.
