The Saxon state parliament will commemorate the victims of the Hamas attack on Israel with a minute's silence at the beginning of the plenary session this Wednesday (10.00). The first current debate will also deal with the conflict in the Middle East under the motto "Solidarity with Israel - protecting Jewish life in Saxony". The debate has been announced by the CDU. The topic of artificial intelligence is also on the agenda, with a specialist government statement by State Chancellery head Oliver Schenk planned. In a second topical debate, the AfD wants to discuss whether the basic right to asylum is still up to date.
