Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is coming to Görlitz this Sunday. Together with the Prime Minister of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, he wants to see a performance of the play "The Exemplary Life of Samuel W." by Lukas Rietzschel at the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater. The 30-year-old author wrote the play on behalf of the Hauptmann Theater. It focuses on the rise, views and fictional life of a populist politician. It had its world premiere in January. Beforehand, Steinmeier wants to sign the Golden Book of the city of Görlitz and then talk to visitors to the theater. On Monday, he will then visit Fit GmbH in Zittau, the best-known manufacturer of washing-up liquid in eastern Germany.
