After the attack on an SPD politician in Dresden, the crimes during the election campaign continue. The city's police are alerted to an attack on an AfD stand and damaged election posters for various parties.

After the attack on SPD MEP Matthias Ecke, an AfD election campaign stand was attacked in Dresden. Two 23-year-old women and a 28-year-old man suddenly attacked a party information stand in the Outer Neustadt district on Saturday afternoon and damaged stands, posters and a table, police said on Sunday. The 54-year-old operator of the stand on the corner of Königsbrücker Straße and Bischofsweg was not injured. The police caught the suspects following information from witnesses. State security has taken over the investigation into damage to property.

In addition, according to the police, a group of 20 young people apparently indiscriminately damaged 21 election posters for the AfD, FDP, CDU and Linke in the Striesen district on Sunday night. A witness called the police, who caught a 17-year-old in the act of destroying a Left Party poster in Schandauer Straße - where MEP Ecke and a Green Party campaign worker were attacked on Friday evening.
