The city of Hoyerswerda receives about 14 million euros for structural change projects from the Free State. The comprehensive renovation and expansion of the Nikolai Ostrowski youth clubhouse into the Neustadtforum will be funded with 8.2 million euros from the Investment Act for Coal Regions, the regional development ministry in Dresden announced Friday. The municipal utilities will receive almost six million euros for the construction of a municipal energy control center. The necessary funding notices are to be handed over next Wednesday by Minister Thomas Schmidt (CDU).
