The maximum Eurojackpot of 120 million euros was not won. Nevertheless, a bettor from Saxony can look forward to winning millions.

A player from the Vogtland region has won more than 4.25 million euros in the Eurojackpot lottery. The lucky player, who is still unknown, placed his bet anonymously at a lottery office, Sachsenlotto announced. The prize therefore still has to be declared. The player is the tenth lottery millionaire in Saxony this year.

Five other players from Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, North Rhine-Westphalia, Norway and Italy also won the second prize tier of the Eurojackpot in Friday's draw. The top prize tier, however, remained untouched. This means that the jackpot will once again reach its maximum amount of 120 million euros on Tuesday. 19 countries take part in the European lottery.
