They almost hit the Eurojackpot - but even so, two players from Saxony can still be happy about their large winnings. A player from Zwickau and an as yet unknown player from Dresden together won almost 1.2 million euros in Friday's draw.
The Saxon lottery company announced today that they will each receive exactly €583,213.40 for their winnings in the second-highest category. Both were only one so-called euro number short of hitting the jackpot. The top prize remained unaffected and now stands at €16 million for the next draw on Tuesday.
