Four lottery players from Saxony won millions in the first half of 2026. This brought the number of top prizes to the same level as in the same period the previous year, according to data from the lottery company. In 2025, players hit the famous six-number jackpot again in the second half of the year—adding another millionaire to the ranks.
This year, May proved to be a particularly lucky month: Players were successful three times in the Eurojackpot lottery. In mid-May, a Dresden resident won 1.65 million euros. In the drawing on May 26, two more prizes of around four million euros were awarded. These prizes also went to Dresden and the Zwickau district.
The first lottery millionaire of the year came from the Erzgebirgskreis district: At the end of March, a player won around 1.1 million euros in the classic “6 out of 49” lottery.
