Immerse yourself in a mythical world and get to know the fairy kingdom: An extraordinary family park for adventurers and dreamers has been created in Grimma.

After 13 years of construction, a new family park in Grimma is ready for its first guests. From Wednesday (September 3), guests will be able to immerse themselves in the enchanted world of "ArkaZien". The park's creator, Günther Ziegler, said that he had realized a dreamy park based on a vision.

Guests will not find rides such as roller coasters or bumper cars here. Instead, warped huts and tree houses, which can be reached via narrow secret passages or rope bridges, awaken the spirit of adventure and discovery. Robinia wood was primarily used here. Pebbles and rough stones came from the surrounding area.

"My employees and my family were allowed to let off steam creatively here. And fortunately, everyone has retained their childlike spirit," emphasized Ziegler. The entrepreneur has been building playgrounds for 30 years, around 80 of them every month throughout Europe, as he says himself. Work on the park was carried out on the side. "Many creative craftsmen were involved in the creation of ArkaZien and you can feel that. The park has a magic all of its own."

Initially, the daily number of visitors will be limited to 1,500 people. Experience is to be gained first, and there are currently only around 300 free parking spaces. "We are far from finished and want to continue building," emphasized Ziegler. A fairy garden, a farm and a Sleeping Beauty castle are also planned.
