Without a driver's license, without insurance and with a blood alcohol level of two: the police stop a risky driver on the A4. It almost came to an accident.

Police have pulled over a drunk driver on the highway 4 (Dresden-Görlitz). The man attracted attention because he repeatedly drove in serpentine lines and cut off another driver after overtaking, according to the Görlitz police department. This almost led to an accident on Friday. The 62-year-old was then stopped by the highway police.

He did not have a driver's license or insurance for his car, they said. The police also smelled alcohol. A test showed two per mille. The driver is now being investigated for, among other things, endangering road traffic.
