On Monday evening, a 46-year-old truck driver left the road due to a driving error and crashed into a crash barrier, a police spokeswoman said. According to police, it is unclear how long the highway will remain closed as a result.
The driver was uninjured in the accident, but the truck overturned and came to rest on its left side. According to the police, the truck driver was under the influence of alcohol - a test showed 2.46 per mille, the spokeswoman said. The accident resulted in property damage of 100,000 euros.
