Transporter overturns after collision - one injured

A 28-year-old man was injured in a collision between a van and a car in Ellefeld (Vogtlandkreis). The collision caused the van to tip onto its side, according to the police. A parked car and a traffic sign were damaged. The driver was taken to hospital with injuries.

The man is believed to have disregarded the right of way rules when he drove his van into a road and crashed into the car of a 49-year-old man. According to the police, the accident caused damage of around 36,000 euros. The van had to be towed away. The 49-year-old driver's breath alcohol level was tested at 0.5 per mille.
