Train cancellations between Chemnitz and Elsterwerda

There will be train cancellations and rail replacement services on the railroad line between Chemnitz and Elsterwerda in Brandenburg (Elbe-Elster district) this coming weekend due to construction work. The reason for the restrictions is construction work by the railroad subsidiary DB InfraGo, according to the Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn, which is responsible for the train connection. This affects the RB45 line on the section from Riesa to Elsterwerda from Friday to Sunday in the late evening hours. Passengers will have to change trains at Riesa station.
