Stable prices and rising demand: The real estate market in Dresden registered rising demand and more contracts signed in 2024. This is according to preliminary key data from the Saxon state capital. Prices have stabilized at the previous year's level. The detailed report on the property market is due to be published in April.
Price of condominiums between 2,610 and 5,565 euros
The average purchase price of a resold condominium was around 2,610 euros per square meter, close to the previous year's figure of 2,630 euros. There were year-on-year price reductions for the purchase of a newly built first-time-occupancy apartment - instead of around 6,000 euros, 5,565 euros had to be paid. This corresponds to a price reduction of around seven percent. The number of apartments traded tripled from 82 to 245.
