A motorcyclist collides with a truck near Niesky. Police and rescue helicopter were deployed.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a traffic accident with a truck on the B115 near Niesky (district of Görlitz) and taken to hospital by helicopter. According to the police, the man hit the truck in front of him as it was turning left.

The road was closed for around two hours in the evening. The police were initially unable to provide any further details.
