Two people have been seriously injured in a traffic accident on the slip road to a state road in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district. According to the police, the car of a 74-year-old man collided with the car of a 72-year-old woman this morning when driving onto the road near Bad Gottleuba. Both vehicles left the road.
The drivers were taken to hospital by emergency services. The road had to be fully closed at times to recover the cars. Property damage is estimated at around 16,000 euros.
