No coronavirus economic aid will be reclaimed in Saxony for the time being. The Ministry of Economic Affairs has arranged for the Sächsische Aufbaubank (SAB) to temporarily suspend the reclaims with immediate effect, according to a statement. This concerns the "Federal Emergency Aid Grant" program and the federal bridging aid.
Many entrepreneurs had approached him in recent weeks about the fact that the repayment claims were a major challenge in the current situation, said Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Panter (SPD). "Existential fears have arisen."
As far as legally possible, the aim is to avoid unnecessary hardship for entrepreneurs. According to the information provided, the details still need to be clarified in the coming days. "For now, the moratorium gives those affected some breathing space," said Panter.
