A 53-year-old man was struck by an incoming S-Bahn train at Dresden Central Station and suffered life-threatening injuries. According to the Federal Police, the man fell onto the tracks from Platform 14 for reasons that remain unclear.
Firefighters rescued the 53-year-old. He was taken to a hospital. The train conductor also suffered shock. Based on current information, the Federal Police are treating this as an accident. The investigation is ongoing.
