A short circuit caused a power outage lasting several hours in the Mittweida region (Mittelsachsen district) during the night. 2,800 grid connections in the region were cut off shortly before midnight, as the responsible grid company envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG (enviaM) announced on request.
