New flights on the schedule at Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports

Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports are launching their summer flight schedules with some new destinations. Leipzig/Halle has added the destinations Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain, Agadir in Morocco, Bucharest in Romania and Tirana in Albania, Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG announced on Thursday. The summer flight schedule is valid from March 31 to October 26, 2024 and includes connections from Leipzig/Halle to 33 destinations in 16 countries, including the vacation destinations Antalya (Turkey), Hurghada (Egypt) and Mallorca (Spain).

Up to 104 flights a week will take off from Dresden Airport. According to the summer schedule, there will be flights to 22 destinations in twelve countries - including Egypt, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria and, new this year, Tunisia.

According to the figures, Dresden Airport handled around 930,000 passengers last year, compared with around 2.1 million at Leipzig/Halle.
