A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a rear-end collision on the B 169 federal highway between Frankenberg and Chemnitz. According to the police, the 58-year-old crashed his motorcycle into a car in front that was trying to turn left at a junction on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services took the motorcyclist to hospital. The 38-year-old car driver was uninjured. The police put the damage at around 5,000 euros. The B169 was temporarily closed at the scene of the accident.
