A moped rider tried unsuccessfully to flee from the police in central Saxony. The 16-year-old initially accelerated on Saturday night when officers tried to check him in Leisnig, police said. After several attempts to stop him, he was stopped. The moped crashed into a patrol car and damaged it. An alcohol test revealed that the young man had 0.6 per mille. His driving license was confiscated.
