A man was driving his car almost 100 kilometers per hour too fast on the Autobahn 4. Police checked behind the Görlitz junction on Wednesday to see whether cars were driving faster than the permitted 80 kilometers per hour, according to the Görlitz police. The driver set the negative record at 179 kilometers per hour; according to the police, he can expect a 700 euro fine, two points and a three-month driving ban.
