A cyclist has been seriously injured in an accident with a car in Fraureuth (Zwickau district). The 71-year-old was cycling on a cycle path on Friday, according to a police statement on Saturday. According to initial findings, the driver hit the woman with his car as he drove off a property onto the road. Rescue workers took the injured woman to hospital. There was no danger to life, said a police spokesperson.
