A driver leaves his lane, hits a sign on the central reservation and then drives into several cars. The police have a suspicion as to the cause of the accident.

A 59-year-old driver left the road in Dresden on Thursday evening and crashed into several cars. Three people were slightly injured, according to the police.

The 59-year-old initially left the road in his car, drove over a grassed central reservation and crashed into a glazed advertising display, according to a police spokesperson. His vehicle then entered the left-turn lane and hit the car of a 56-year-old woman, which in turn was pushed onto another car driven by a 45-year-old woman.

As a result of the collision on Washingtonstrasse, pieces of glass also flew around and hit another car, which was only slightly damaged. According to the police, the 59-year-old's medical problems probably caused him to leave the road.
