Three people have been seriously injured in a traffic accident near Muldenberg (Vogtlandkreis). According to the police, a 79-year-old man crashed his car into a second car during a turning maneuver at a junction. A 77-year-old female passenger was trapped in the car and had to be rescued by the fire department. A rescue helicopter was also deployed. The damage to property amounted to around 50,000 euros. The road was closed for around three hours.
