Drivers can expect restrictions on the Autobahn 9 near Halle from next Sunday (March 22). According to Autobahn GmbH, the lane in the direction of Munich will be fully closed between the Halle junction and the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction from Sunday evening until probably Wednesday morning (March 25). The Wiedemar junction will also be closed.
Second closure within a few days
During this time, work will be carried out on the carriageway around the clock, it said. The section of the highway had already been closed once in the past few days. The repair work will then continue from March 22.
As was the case during the first full closure, traffic will be diverted from Halle via the B100 to the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction. The reason for the work is damage to the carriageway caused by the frequent alternation of frost and thaw.
