18-year-old drives through Leipzig at 110 km/h

An 18-year-old was speeding through Leipzig at 110 km/h. According to the police, the young man was driving a van on Friday evening when he was caught speeding during a traffic check. The speed limit was 50 km/h. The driver has only been in possession of a driver's license since February and is still on probation. He now faces a fine of at least 560 euros, a two-month driving ban, additional training and an extension of his probationary period, according to the police.
