Aliens in Upper Lusatia: extras are being sought for the production of the GDR children's series "Spuk von draußen" at this year's Bautzen Theater Summer. A casting is planned for March 20 in the main theater on Seminarstraße in Bautzen, as announced by the Deutsch-Sorbisches Volkstheater. They are looking for adults aged 18 and over, who ideally already have stage experience. Doubles for the extraterrestrials are also being sought for the play.
This year's Bautzen Theater Summer will reportedly take place from June 18 to July 26 in the Ortenburg courtyard. Rehearsals for the extras are scheduled to begin on May 6. Rehearsals will generally take place on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Last year, the series "Spuk unterm Riesenrad" from the successful "Spuk" series by Claus Ulrich Wiesner and Günter Meyer was already brought to the stage.
