Improving security after the break-in in the Green Vault

According to the public prosecutor's office, masked individuals had parked a truck equipped with a lifting platform next to the Louvre in Paris on Sunday morning. The thieves fled with eight precious pieces of jewelry from former queens and empresses - including tiaras, necklaces, earrings and brooches encrusted with precious stones.
Some of Dresden's most valuable pieces still missing

The perpetrators stole 21 pieces of jewelry with diamonds and diamonds and also caused over one million euros in property damage. In May 2023, the Dresden Regional Court sentenced five young men from the Berlin Remmo clan to several years in prison. This was preceded by an agreement between the parties involved in the trial. Part of the agreement was also the return of a large part of the loot. However, there is still no trace of some of the most valuable items.
