The Philippines is bringing more than 100 authors to Frankfurter Buchmesse 2025 as Guest of Honour country. The program makers are very committed to preparing the autumn appearance under the motto "Imagination animates the air", said Book Fair Director Juergen Boos.
The island state has launched a funding program that has enabled the translation of more than 120 titles into foreign languages. As a foretaste of Frankfurt, the Philippines is currently represented for the first time with its own stand at the Leipzig Book Fair.
