Around 600 historic mills across Germany will open their doors to visitors on Whit Monday (June 9) to mark German Mill Day. The official opening will be celebrated at the Obermühle and the Bockwindmühle in Bad Düben (district of North Saxony), according to the German Society for Mill Science and Conservation. After an ecumenical church service, visitors can discover the two mills and experience Max and Moritz as a play.
