A total of 506 works have been submitted for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize 2025. 166 publishers entered their books into the race for the coveted award, the book fair announced. The prize is awarded in the categories of fiction, non-fiction/essay writing and translation. It is endowed with a total of 60,000 euros.
The jury, chaired by journalist Katrin Schumacher, will announce the nominees on March 6, 2025. The prizes are traditionally awarded on the first day of the Leipzig Book Fair - next year this will be March 27.
