Around 140 artists and designers from Europe, Asia and Africa will be showing their work at Leipzig's Grassi Museum this weekend. According to the museum, renowned designers will be presenting outstanding pieces alongside young artisans and university graduates who will be coming up with surprises.
The Grassi Fair invites visitors to look, find out and buy from October 24 to 26. On display will be works of jewelry, accessories, ceramics and porcelain, fashion, textiles, furniture, wood, metal, glass and paper. In addition, eight Grassi Prizes will be awarded - endowed with a total of 11,000 euros as well as non-cash prizes and purchases for the museum.
The fair takes place annually and, according to the organizers, is considered one of the leading international sales fairs for applied art and design in Europe. This year, according to the organizers, more than 290 people applied.
