Even after decades in the show business, actor Rolf Becker can't say whether he prefers acting or making films. A decision is hardly possible, said Becker, who celebrates his 90th birthday on March 31.
"There are things that can be performed ten times better in film and television because a camera can capture differentiation." On stage, on the other hand, you get a direct response from the audience. "I love this direct contact, this spontaneity, the unexpected. But I'm also happy about what I can convey when a camera is there."
