At Lake Störmthal near Leipzig, the motto is from this Friday: Three days of partying, listening to your favorite artists and relaxing by the lake. Around 50 bands will be performing at the Highfield Festival until Sunday. Peter Fox, Rise Against, Cro, Mando Diao and Macklemore will be on stage. According to the organizers, they are expecting around 30,000 visitors.
The special thing about Highfield is its location by the lake. The festival has its own beach, which is also used for small concerts, beach volleyball and other activities. Visitors can swim in the lake between concerts, lie on the beach and enjoy music on the beach stage. Tickets are still available for last-minute visitors. The festival pass for all days costs 199 euros, day tickets are available for 99 euros.
