As the Deutschlandticket differs in scope of services from the previous DVB AG job ticket for companies with 30 or more employees, both models will be available in Dresden in the future. The differences between the previous Jobticket and the Deutschlandticket as a Jobticket can be summarized as follows:

• Validity: The previous Jobticket is valid on working days (Monday to Friday) between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. only in conjunction with a valid personal document in the selected VVO tariff zone. The Deutschlandticket as a job ticket, on the other hand, is valid throughout Germany on local public transport without the need for proof.
• Transferability: The previous job ticket can be passed on to other people during the rest of the time (does not apply to reduced job tickets). The Deutschlandticket as a job ticket, however, is not transferable.
• Takeaway: With the previous job ticket can be taken free of charge another adult and up to four students up to the 15th birthday weekdays after 6 pm and on weekends all day, as well as a bicycle or a dog. With the Deutschlandticket as a job ticket, there is no entrainment option.
• Number of employees: The previous job ticket can be offered from 30 using employees, while the Deutschlandticket as a job ticket is available without a minimum number of employees.
