The outage could continue throughout the day, said a spokesperson for the fire department. The operator is working "at full speed" to solve the problem. The fire department issued a corresponding message via the federal government's modular warning system. Two district heating pipes were also damaged in the collapse during the night, and hot water is flowing out.
