Anyone traveling on the RE3 or RE30 at the end of October should expect changes. Rail replacement service is scheduled for two days.

Commuters and other train passengers should expect service disruptions on regional trains around Dresden. Due to construction work between Dresden and Chemnitz, there will be skipped stops on the RE3 and RE30 on the morning of October 25 and the afternoon of October 30, according to Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn.

The stations affected are those between Dresden-Neustadt and Dresden-Plauen. A rail replacement service will be provided on both days in the form of buses. These will run between Dresden Central Station and Tharandt. Passengers can find out exactly which connections are affected on the website www.mitteldeutsche-regiobahn.de.
