From mid-April, the busy Autobahn 4 east of Dresden will be a tight squeeze for drivers. Between the Ohorn and Salzenforst junctions, 9.2 kilometers of the roadway in the direction of Dresden will have to be resurfaced, according to the federal government's Autobahn GmbH. The measure, which costs around seven million euros, is necessary due to damage. The work is scheduled to last until October.
Traffic will be guided past the construction site in two lanes. Three lanes will run in the direction of Görlitz, one in the direction of Dresden. The Uhyst slip road in the direction of Görlitz will be closed during the entire construction period. There will also be temporary closures of the Uhyst slip road towards Dresden and temporary closures at the Burkau junction.
