It's a day to celebrate for the German technology industry! Economics Minister Robert Habeck has announced a monumental investment of four billion euros in the semiconductor industry, spread across 31 projects throughout Germany. This is one of the largest grants ever made in Germany, and it marks a significant step toward technological sovereignty.
Multiple Projects Benefit
The projects funded include internationally known major companies as well as suppliers and startups. The locations of these projects are widespread, with focal points in the south and east of Germany, where industrial hubs are located. Some of the funded projects are located in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and Saxony, including companies such as Ericsson Antenna Technology Germany GmbH, Bosch Sensortec GmBH and Infineon.
