Building in Saxony is becoming more and more expensive. Compared to the previous year, the construction price index for a residential building has risen by 10.5 percent, as announced by the State Statistical Office in Kamenz on Wednesday. Prices had already risen by 21.4 percent in 2022 compared to the previous year. According to the data, customers now paid 9 percent more for work on shell construction, while finishing work increased in price by 11.9 percent.
