Dynamo Dresden drew 3-3 (1-0) with Bundesliga side SC Freiburg in the last test before the start of the 2nd Bundesliga season and can go into their first second league game on Saturday (1.30pm/Sky) at SpVgg. Greuther Fürth with confidence.
The newly promoted team took the lead after 22 minutes through Vinko Sapina in Schruns, Austria, where the SC completed a ten-day training camp. In the XXL test over 4x30 minutes, Robin Meißner (70') increased the lead to 2:0 after a counter-attack. Lucas Höler (82') took advantage of a Dynamo mistake in defense to connect, SC newcomer Igor Matanovic (95') scored the equalizer after an individual action, before Höler (111') again gave Freiburg the lead. Jan-Hendrik Marx finally scored the not undeserved equalizer. Dynamo veteran Stefan Kutschke (84) failed to beat Freiburg's substitute keeper Florian Müller with a penalty.
