Dynamo Dresden are still without points following their promotion. Bielefeld is a completely different story: the newly promoted Arminen are at the top of the table. Coach Stamm nevertheless sees every chance for Dynamo.

Following the loss of a trio of strikers, Dynamo Dresden head coach Thomas Stamm will only decide at short notice who will start at second division leaders Arminia Bielefeld. He will then decide between Nils Fröling and Stefan Kutschke on Sunday (1.30pm). Although the Elbe side are still without points following their promotion, Stamm expects "a 50:50 game. Both teams have the same approach - regardless of the league. The routines haven't changed much now. These are two teams that can play with and without the ball at a very high intensity. You can expect a close game."

Daferner and Vermeij back next week?

Since goalscorer Christoph Daferner has injured his hand and Vincent Vermeij is suffering from an infection, they are not yet an issue. "It's possible that both will be back in the starting line-up next week," said Stamm. Daferner had scored in each of the first two games of the season against Fürth (2:3) and Magdeburg (1:2). Jakob Zickler (shoulder injury) will also be out for longer.

The last time Dynamo played on the Alm in the 3rd division, before both teams were promoted, they drew 1-1. The last second division clash at Arminia over five years ago ended 4-0. The last time the Elbe side won at Arminia in the lower division was in 2018 with a 3-2 victory.
