Football international David Raum has reassured national coach Julian Nagelsmann about a joint World Cup bet. In the event that Germany become world champions at this summer's tournament in Canada, Mexico and the USA, the two want to get a joint tattoo. When nominating the World Cup squad, Nagelsmann had said in a video about space. "David, the thing that scares me most is our joint tattoo at the World Cup, I have to say. But not because I'm afraid of getting a tattoo. It's because I don't think we'll find any more room with you." The 28-year-old Raum, whose body is covered in tattoos from top to bottom, doesn't share this concern. "Nah, nah, nah. You can always find a free spot," said the RB Leipzig full-back at the German World Cup squad's training camp in Herzogenaurach. However, he has not yet discussed the motif with the national coach, as the 36-time international revealed. "But he's now tripped himself up with the statement, because he can't avoid it now if we really do win the World Cup," Raum told Nagelsmann. "For me, it's really fine if we do it. I don't mind if he chooses the motif. But I definitely want to be there when he gets his tattoo," said Raum. The World Cup final will take place on July 19 in East Rutherford near New York.
