RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba does not see the suspension against coach Marco Rose as a major weakening for his team. "We work together all week. We train how we play. For me, that's not so important in the game, it's all about the details," said the French international. Rose picked up his fourth yellow card in the 3-0 defeat to Wolfsburg and is therefore suspended for Saturday's match against 1. FC Heidenheim (3.30pm/Sky).
For Lukeba, the absence of the head coach is not a new experience. "There was a situation like this once before in Lyon. The coach was ill and his assistant stood in for him," said the 21-year-old. "You still feel the presence of the coach, so it doesn't make that much difference." In Heidenheim, Alexander Zickler or Marco Kurth will be in charge of the team on the touchline.
RB will probably be able to rely on Xavi Simons for the newcomers. However, the Dutch international was absent from training on Tuesday, as was Christoph Baumgartner. The duo trained individually. Kevin Kampl had to miss the session entirely due to an infection.
Yussuf Poulsen is almost fit to play again following his muscle injury. The Danish striker is in recovery training and should be integrated into team training over the course of the week. For the game in Heidenheim, it could already be enough for a place on the bench.
